From the dough to the cheese, I would have been better off making it at home and saving the money. My family and I ordered a Large Cheese Sicilian Pizza. Today was the last day that I will ever eat there again. I have eaten here only a handful of times. I wish I could give it zero stars for the way I was treated here as a customer. The lack of attentive service and the wings on the counter is what got me the most. They were dry it seemed like they didn't have any sauce at all! Im sure it had some to do with the drive and some to do with the fact that they were hanging out on the counter before i even arrived! It wasn't exactly what i had imagined it to be although it was spicy the chicken was a little dry and it was a little skimp on the cheese. The pizza was good and i would get it again. I was so excited to try the pizza! I had to drive roughly 20 min home. My wings were however just hanging out on the counter by the kitchen! When the girl who appeared to be a server finally came over to see what i was there for she pulled my pizza out from under the counter. They weren't really busy and the bartender was having what appeared to be a casual conversation in the corner with 2 bar guests! I walked to the bar and it took a girl several minutes to come see me! I was told to pick up my food at the bar a few steps away. When i arrived although i was greeted immediately by an anxious server waiting at the host stand. I ordered the Thai chicken pizza and Buffalo wings to go. I certainly don’t expect to be interrupted when I’m trying to explain my situation. I expect courtesy, a refund and common sense to look at material before you hand it over to a customer. You should not interrupt a regular customer when they’re trying to explain their experience and say you’re doing your best and you don’t know what else they expect. You would expect a classy restaurant to know how to listen to complaints. This changed my entire impression of this place. Nothing happened other than someone didn’t care and gave me a disgusting salad to go.Īnd to imply that something happened on the way home is very belittling and irresponsible from management. I order the same salad every week sometimes daily for the last year. She also tried to imply the salad didn’t look like this before I came home. My daughter overheard and was laughing saying “could you just get to the point”□ I was interrupted several times and was told she’s doing her best to help me. NC still has great options they are just no longer in my hometown.I called as a result of receiving a salad that looked like this and the manager seemed very hasty in listening ear to my complaint. Another option is the Tanger Outlet Mall in Burlington about an hour away which is also well patrolled, has many different stores and many free standing big name stores near by as well as many choices in restaurants. It is safe, has all the stores I lost at Hanes Mall like Godiva along with many more I thought were only in big cities like New York. I drive 2 hours to South Park mall in Charlotte. Best advise I can give is find somewhere safer to go or buy online. There was a shooting over the summer outside of one of the restaurants across from Belk in in the parking lot. It's pretty bad considering I use to love to shop there but I don't feel safe walking through it or even being in the parking lots. I don't know if they are afraid of the trouble makers or their hands are tied. I park outside Macy's and I don't go anywhere except for Macy's. I still go to the mall about once a month to Macy's. They had been in the mall since it opened. They have raised the rent so high that my second favorite store Godiva closed it's doors instead of caving to the high increases. It use to be families, parents out shopping waiting on an outside the mall restaurant or a great girls trip of shopping to you drop. Many stores have closed or moved and the new clientele brings in a totally different crowd. I lived in this mall from a teen through most of my adult years and I loved the stores.
